
Dr. Krisczar Bungay
Dr. Kris Bungay is a board-certified internist who has been in private practice for general internal medicine since 2003. Although he sees a wide-range of medical conditions, he specializes on HIV medicine and LGBT health.
He was born and raised in Manila, Philippines but moved to the US at a young age. After finishing high school in Nevada, he moved to NYC to attend Manhattan College for his undergraduate studies. He obtained his medical degree at SUNY-Brooklyn in 1999.
He accomplished his residency program (Primary Care/Internal Medicine) at the former St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan and served an additional year as chief resident of the internal medicine residency program. Besides his full-time private practice, he also serves as a board member and chair of Clinical Care Committee of Callen-Lorde Community Health Center.

Dr. Stephen Dillon
Dr. Stephen Dillon practices infectious disease medicine and internal medicine. He received his medical degree from Sackler School Of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and completed his residency program at SUNY-Brooklyn.

Jeffrey Kwong, DNP
Jeffrey Kwong is a certified adult nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience. He has worked in a variety of settings, including Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and the University of Colorado Denver. Jeffrey has spent the majority of his career working in internal medicine, with a special focus on caring for persons living with HIV.
Jeffrey is able to treat and manage both acute and chronic illness, including prescribing, ordering diagnostic tests, and providing education to his patients on how to stay as healthy as possible by incorporating a variety of health and wellness interventions. His philosophy of care is focused on promoting wellness.
Jeffrey is a certified HIV specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine and is also certified by the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care. When not providing direct care, Jeffrey also serves as an education consultant and has published several articles in peer review journals.

Tom Saglimbeni, NP
Tom Saglimbeni is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and HIV Advanced Practice Nurse. He previously worked in a variety of settings, including the emergency department, inpatient HIV/AIDS unit and hospice care. Tom received his MSN from Columbia University, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BSN from Stony Brook University and earned his BS in exercise physiology from Skidmore College. He is an active member of the Nursing Honor Society-Sigma Theta Tau. His interests include internal medicine, men’s health and infectious disease.
Tom is able to diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions through ordering and interpreting diagnostics tests, prescribing medications and providing patient education. As a Nurse Practitioner, Tom focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and health counseling to guide patients in making informed decisions. Outside of health care, Tom is a US National Trainer and Presenter for the Les Mills group fitness programs BODATTACK and BODYSTEP.

Melissa Hegedus, PA-C, MPH
Melissa Hegedus is a certified Physician Assistant dedicated to providing personal, quality patient care emphasizing preventative medicine and patient education. Melissa received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in 2006. She attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine receiving her Master of Public Health degree in 2009. She then received a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO in 2011..
Her clinical experience includes ear, nose and throat, family medicine, women’s health and now internal medicine. Here at Gotham Medical, Melissa is responsible for seeing and treating patients with both acute and chronic illnesses. Including prescribing medications, ordering, interpreting diagnostic tests and performing annual Pap smear exams on female and transgender female-to-male patients. She is also responsible for administrating routine immunizations and travel vaccinations.

Dr. Robert Cohen
Effective November 1st, 2016, I will be closing my primary care practice. I will be continuing my clinical work serving patients with opiate dependence and dedicating increased efforts towards improving the lives of the men and women who are incarcerated in our nation’s prisons and jails.
